This scenario is in the Battlegroup Kursk book, and is geared towards a demo/learning game of Battlegroup. It’s a Squad sized game, so relatively quick. This is played in 15mm, on a 4×6 table. I’ve matched the table the best I could, along with the army lists. The minor change I’ve made is a Soviet T-60 instead of T-70, as I didn’t have a T-70 painted. Evan and Ben are back and much to no one’s surprise the IDG gears have shifted from late war to early war. The crew uses the episode to do a shakedown of the new recording software while musing on the French and German conflict in 1940. The origins of the new plan are revealed and prattle about early war armor abounds. Continue reading History to Hobby Episode 5: Pivot like Rommel – Iron Dice Eyes the Dyle
I have to throw a little plug for our podcast, History to Hobby. History to Hobby is a podcast where we chat about bringing historical actions to the tabletop primarily via Too Fat Lardies’ World War II game Chain of Command. As nerds we talk about historical context, unit involvement, TO & Es, as well as hobby related stuff like sourcing miniatures and paint schemes. … Continue reading History to Hobby Episode 3
