This scenario is in the Battlegroup Kursk book, and is geared towards a demo/learning game of Battlegroup. It’s a Squad sized game, so relatively quick. This is played in 15mm, on a 4×6 table. I’ve matched the table the best I could, along with the army lists. The minor change I’ve made is a Soviet T-60 instead of T-70, as I didn’t have a T-70 painted. Then I found a great idea for using the TT Combat MDF kit for a sci fi gothic library. Continue reading Esoteric Order of Dagon
My buddy Blake and I played a Bolt Action game using Scenario 11: Little Saturn from the Case Blue Campaign book. We reskinned it to be where his Americans were attempting to take a pass somewhere in Italy 1943 by occupying two bunkers and a HQ. Continue reading Bolt Action Italy – Defend the Pass
A couple weeks back my buddy Doak and I tried out Victrix’s new skirmish game Pillage. I had played Saga before and its okay, but the board mechanics get a little too gamey for me sometimes and I feel the game swings way in the favor of anyone familiar with their army/ boards. I will continue to play it since I bought everything for it, but it’s a different experience. I tried Raven’s Feast. Solid game, but a little too rules lite… So now it was on to Pillage.
