Mid-War German Grenadier Painting Guide

Evan and I are very proud to announce that the accompanying painting guide for Colonel Muller MiniaturesFrom Meuse to Volga Kick Starter is now available! We are elated to be involved in such an excellent project.

A big thank you to Stephane from Colonel Muller Miniatures and to our buddies, Iron Dice Josh, Casey, Anthony, Drew, and Teddy for the ideas, sounding board service, and helping with the proofreading. This guide was truly a team effort.

You can find the painting guide on his website (for free) here!

There are still 6 days to back From Meuse to Volga which has over 140 STLs and all stretch goals unlocked. Of course we all like to see the quality of a product before we buy. Stephane has us covered with a pensive landser test miniature!

  1. Now that is a very comprehensive painting guide indeed! 🙂 Well done! Strictly speaking, the tunic in the early war years had a dark green collar and shoulder straps, but I would imagine that wouldn’t necessarily be evident on figures, particularly once the collar patches and strap piping are painted on (I don’t bother with the dark green myself).
