    1. While I’ve played quite a bit of BA, it’s great for what it is. I’ve not played CoC yet. Battlegroup is VERY deep, the amount of things you can use on the table is never-ending, and units work like they would in reality. It’s more narrative than arcade style. The best aspects to me are its ability to recreate the fog of war, nothing is guaranteed, how it handles artillery, and the battle rating system. Lots of excitement and unexpected things develop, as they would in reality.

        It seems I have a copy (just the rules), a 2017 edition. I must have a read and see how it works.
