This scenario is in the Battlegroup Kursk book, and is geared towards a demo/learning game of Battlegroup. It’s a Squad sized game, so relatively quick. This is played in 15mm, on a 4×6 table. I’ve matched the table the best I could, along with the army lists. The minor change I’ve made is a Soviet T-60 instead of T-70, as I didn’t have a T-70 painted. Continue reading “Getting Dirty” – Adding dirt and dust to 15mm Vehicles

I have a soft spot for Battlefront’s Vietnam line of 15mm miniatures. They were amongst my first painted man dollies. Then there was a unfortunate incident involving a dumpster and a nerd who needed to find himself. Fast forward a few years and Flames of War Nam received a reboot. When this happened the air cavalry and Black Horse armored cavalry boxes immediately caught my … Continue reading Unboxing: Battlefront Miniatures Black Horse Armored Cavalry Troop
For my first Battlegroup experience I chose the 116th Panzer Reconnaissance Battalion. Zippy Sdkfz 250 halftracks backed up by armor? Yee-haw! Continue reading Windhund Vor! The 116th Panzer Division Project
