I may have been quiet on here but rest assured I have been toiling away behind the scenes. We have some fun stuff developing in the Iron Dice Incubator (TM) not to mention the half dozen articles I have started in the past 3 week… stay tuned I suppose? Excitingly, in the past few weeks we hit 50,000 lifetime site views and we are closing … Continue reading Good Morning Vietnam! (Again)
Well, time for some more Hobby Zone Modular Workshop System madness! In today’s build and review we are looking at the Corner Shelf Module and the Corner Bottles Module. Continue reading Product Review: Hobby Zone Corner Shelf
Things are happening at the Iron Dice Thunderdome. If you get the reference you have our respect and sympathy (in equal measure). And yes, I’ve hit a nerd milestone. I have emailed a foreign government asking for photographs. Fingers crossed… Continue reading …whatcha got there?
Evan came to Wisconsin to visit me in early June this past summer. Early war Chain of Command and indulgence in some general tomfoolery were on the docket.

It’s pert near a rite of passage for tabletop gamers from the 1980s onward. While I don’t agree with the price of entry and rules churn I do appreciate their models and the … Continue reading A Dive to the Underhive
I suppose it’s about time for another Iron Dice Product Review and I happened to pick up a product I find very useful, the Red Grass Games Painter V2 Everlasting Wet Palette. How serendipitous. For those uninitiated, a wet palette is a surface to mix and stage your acrylic paints and washes prior to putting them onto what you’re painting. The surface is typically made … Continue reading Product Review: Red Grass Games Painter V2 Wet Pallette
Johann and Albert broke off their dawn patrol route to “check something out.” Johann figured this was free license for free hunting. Handke knew Schulte was pining for more victories but soon it was apparent they were looking for a Soviet airfield to terrorize. Continue reading “Hunter or Hunted?” Bag the Hun Ostfront Campaign – Chapter 2
Jordan from Scale History SLC joins Evan and Ben to talk all about kit-bashing WWII in 28mm. From the ordinary to the exotic, Jordan is on a mission to never repeat a pose. Here’s the real question, can Evan trap hobby butterfly Ben before he’s also kit-bashing Folglore Paratroopers? Ben is so young and impressionable after all… Scale History SLC YouTube historytohobby.podbean.com Continue reading History to Hobby Episode 7: Mr. Steal Yo’ Green Stuff – Kitbashing Chat with Scale History SLC
