No plan survives first contact
Acknowledging that only a few months ago I set out a plan as to what my next steps were going to be for painting an army, I have managed to fail spectacularly in my execution of said plan.
Since that time, my imagination has been hugely recaptured by the Space Wolf update. That and an accidental appearance on an Iron Dice podcast episode, coupled with the influence of multiple of the guys on here (shoutout to Ben and Evan), has seen me buy into 28mm WWII, specifically, chain of command, and re-creating historical battles.
So, my upcoming projects have now switched to my Space, Wolf army, and my Currahee starter set from warlord games.
My plan for each of these two projects is to pick a tutorial that I find on the internet and use that as my foundation. However, I will make adjustments where I see fit. The tutorial I will be using for Space Wolves is one of the cult of paint YouTube videos. I am still reviewing options as to which I am going to follow for my Currahee set.
Please chastise me for my lack of diligence as you see fit.

If I was to chastise you, Josh, I’d just be a hypocrite! Having a new plan to replace the old plan is the important bit as far as I’m concerned. 🙂 My painting plan for May and June changed after the first week in May and, surprisingly, it hasn’t changed since then!

Planning! You can’t have too much planning in Wargames I reckon, although if like me you replan constantly but don’t complete then it can drive you bonkers. Bon voyage!

Haha isn’t that the truth. Planning projects is 51% of the fun. No one wants to execute said projects… 😆

I want to! It’s just finding the time.
